Christ's Church Of Beaverton Profile
Christ's Church of Beaverton was blessed to be able to purchase property along the shores of Wixom Lake in Beaverton MI. We are a non-denominational Christian church, committed to knowing Jesus and making Jesus known.
We are seeking a pastor to lead, shepherd, and make disciples in our church and community. This opportunity includes the possibility of relocating to our church property, providing a unique opportunity to live among the people you serve and build meaningful relationships within the community.
Beaverton is a welcoming small-town community in Gladwin County, Michigan, with a population of approximately 1,220 residents with a median age of around 40 years old. Our area along Wixom Lake is comprised of many vacation home owners and retirees, with approximately 2900 properties along the shore. In May of 2020, historic rainfall led to the failure of 4 dams, causing the loss of all 4 lakes, resulting in significant flooding throughout Midland and Gladwin Counties. Over the last 6 years the dams have been actively being rebuilt and the lakes are refilling; with final filling of all 4 lakes in early 2028. It was out of this disaster that Christ's Church of Beaverton was formed via the relief efforts of the International Disaster Emergency Services.
